Lake
George is Where I Want to Be!
I love the mountains I love the sea But Lake George is where I want to be.
Just give me a spot Aboard a boat And onto cloud nine, I will float
Fish you can take Friends you can make You'll find it all, within the lake
Onboard the Mine-Ha-Ha You will go ga-ga She's fine for the kids, and for mama and papa
Songs you can sing Bells you can ring Come to Lake George, she's fit for a king
This lake has it all For both large and small Just go for a cruise, and you'll have a ball!
I love the mountains I love the sea But Lake George is where I want to be.

| Tune:
Refrain: I love the mountains, I love the sea. But Lake George is where I want to be. Tune: e e f g f e d e c e e e f g f d e c
Verses: Give me a spot , On board a boatAnd onto cloud nine I will float etc. Tune: e f g a g a g a e f g a g a g a (which coincidentally spells ga-ga) I think this could also work as a rhyme, with the refrain repeated after each verse. |
