This page contains a letter of recommendation written by Gary Matthews after I received my PhD at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.  Gary was the head of my dissertation committee.  He has published many books and articles in philosophy, and is a very accomplished philosopher.  He still remains a good friend to me.
